Located near a golf course and tucked away on a private drive, Fairview Living Renovation exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere with its large windows and scenic views. The homeowners, a busy family of five and their furry companion, sought to renovate their floors and home office for a fresh update.

Debra Poppen Design’s approach incorporated a rich palette of soft grays, warm woods, and a variety of finishes throughout two floors of the home, blending traditional and modern elements seamlessly.

The main level’s existing beautiful dark hardwood was retained and incorporated into the design, which grounded the design in an inviting warmth. New carpeting and tile flooring, featuring warm and cool tones, paired with ethereal blue rug accents, added just the right amount of color to the classic design.

A new home office was designed with custom cabinetry and innovative storage solutions, creating a practical and stylish workspace. We softened the elongated bookcase design by blending two finishes, resulting in a cohesive transitional and contemporary design.

This Grand Haven home strikes a perfect balance between elegance and practicality, creating a space that is both functional and visually appealing.
